Welcome to our site which is dedicated to my grandmother, Manakedi who inspired me to love all that grows from the soil of Mother Earth and that anything is possible to make with your own hands. I watched her making her own soaps with what I now know was lye and lard and she crushed fresh herbs and roots which she used to heal minor wounds. She made my brother and I drink some boiled concoction of plant leaves and roots and cured us of measles. I should have known that Natural and Organic was going to be “fashionable” one day!
We live in an increasingly toxic world and we are constantly surrounded and come into contact with at least 75,000 potential chemicals daily in our lives. Out of these chemicals we absorb up to about 60% in our skin. So doesn’t it make sense to try and reduce the toxic burden by using safer products that are kinder to our skin and environment?
The market of Organic and Natural in the UK stands at about 2% only at the moment and it is reassuring that it is increasing slowly. We want you to follow this trend and supply you with products that you can trust.
