Anna Sekoto-Sacre is the founder of Manakedi Natural Products

Anna is a complimentary therapist and a registered general nurse and midwife. She studied and worked in South Africa as a theatre nurse for over fifteen years. It was while working with plastic surgeons that she developed an interest in ’face lifts’ and skin care. She came to live in England in 1997 and studied most of the complimentary therapies in London, Surrey and North Herts College. She trained intensively to make natural and safe skin products and was encouraged further to do so through witnessing for many years women, especially of ethnic origin, using skin lightening creams and bleaches which often had detrimental results. Unfortunately in most cases the damage is irreversible. When she created these products she had you in mind and that is why it is important for her to get feedback from all of her clients. Coming from a cultural background where herbs and plants are used as medicine and food, she believes strongly in natural remedies. Anna and her brother were given herbal infusion by her grandmother and were cured of measles without any antibiotic. She wishes she knew the name of that herb!

Her main interest is to use herbs in her products for the following reasons:
